100 Mile House
The District of 100 Mile House is located in south central BC, on the Fraser Plateau between the Coastal Mountains and the Rockies. It's 458 km north of Vancouver and 328 km south of Prince George. The population of the community is 1,886 with up to 20,000 in the surrounding area. Primary industries include forestry, ranching and tourism. 100 Mile House is the main service centre for the South Cariboo region, which includes the communities of 108 Mile Ranch and Lac La Hache in the north 70Mile and Green Lake / Watch Lake in the south, Canim Lake, Forest Grove, Lone Butte including the Fishing Hwy 24 with Bridge, Sheridan and Deka Lakes and areas.
